Organic healthy alternative to popular store brand tostatasDec 15, 2007
This is another pantry staple for us. We only buy organic healthy foods. I like things that are quick and easy to prepare also. These tostatas offer both. They are about 6" flat and round, crunchy not soft. Heat a little oil in a pan (or if you have a brush or an oil sprayer, that would do nicely to put a little oil right on the tostada) and heat these with some shredded cheese between for a quick lunch that even the kids will enjoy. For variety, drain a can of white meat chicken to mix with the cheese, add diced tomatos and sliced olives. You can't go wrong with these if you enjoy mexican food and want organic for your family.
