Best Almonds Out ThereSep 12, 2009 Wonderfully seasoned almonds, Cannot understand the bad reviews. If you are looking for a plain almond, this is not what you are looking for. Looking for a seasoned alternative -- best there is!

I've tried EVERY kind of almonds on the market...Emerald's are, by far, superior to all!Jun 13, 2009 Emerald Dry Roasted Almonds are "ridiculously delicious" and addictive! I love them. I can only find them locally in 2.5 oz bags, so I usually buy most of the store's supply, when I stop in. Many other brands are over-seasoned or just plain hard and bland. Emerald's almonds are perfectly seasoned and perfectly roasted. The texture is unsurpassed. Five stars!!
Awful!Jan 06, 2009 These are absolutely the worst nuts I have ever eaten... and I got a CASE of them!! I wanted a Planters type taste, and boy, were these not that!! I couldn't give them away!! Will never purchase this product again. BLECHK!!!

YUCK, YUCK and YUCK!Jan 07, 2008 First let me say I LOVE almonds. I like them raw, toasted, salted or not. I wasn't expecting the flavor of these at all. Very strong garlic and onion flavor that took me by surprise. I really tried to get past that and eat these but could not. Emerald should change the label to 'seasoned' almonds. Now I read all labels when I buy nuts so I am not disappointed again when I just want the flavor of the nuts and not all the seasoning.

Yuck!Dec 18, 2007 I love almonds, but these are awful. What Emerald refers to as "baked on seasoning" overpowers any taste of the almonds themselves. I knew something was wrong when I opened the package and the nuts clearly had a shiny coating. I tasted them and couldn't even figure out what the coating was, so I looked at the ingredient list. The coating contains stuff like modified potato starch, sugar, paprika, onion powder, corn syrup solids, etc. It seems odd, but these taste more like a potato chip than a nut. If you are accustomed to eating almonds, I don't think you'll like these. If you're just looking for something salty, oniony, and crunchy, these will probably do.
