4Not badNov 17, 2009
It makes a decent amount of food, but if you're looking for "rice", you'll be coming up short. Most of the grains appear to be "Enriched Macaroni Product" rather than the "Enriched Long Grain Rice" that supposedly accounts for the largest quantity of ingredients. It's a little too salty for my taste, so I remove much of the seasoning block before cooking. Aside from that, it's quite delicious.

5Old favorite of mine.Sep 19, 2008
For some reason, this flavor has always been hard to find in stores. That's kind of a pity because it's pretty good, and useful to boot. Its texture and mild flavor go along with a lot of chicken dishes I make, and I've recently discovered it also goes well as a side to Quorn chicken breasts. Give it a try!

5Surprisingly goodDec 17, 2007
I made this with butter instead of the recommended margarine (?? I can only guess that Unilever wants to promote their margarine brands) and was surprised at 1) how tasty the result is, and 2) how well the instructions work. This pilaf will now be a fixture in my cupboard. (NB the price from my local market was about 75% the unit price here, and you don't have to buy a case).
