5Great ProductJun 24, 2010
I ordered this from Amazon when it became difficult to find the 1/4 grain tablets locally. I like these even better. Less counting with the larger tablets and a better price. The tablets seem to dissolve easier than the smaller ones that I could buy from the local grocery store before they stopped having them. This works great for sweetening my iced green tea that I make by the gallon. Saves a lot of calories and leaves no after taste.

Product was what I ordered it was shipped expediently and my husband was glad he received it so he could sweeten his tea. Thanks

5good artificial sweetener that is greenerMay 30, 2010
The tast of this sweetener is identical to others sold in packets and made from saccharin (Sweet N Low and its imitations) but its advantages over those products is that it is less expensive and it doesn't come packaged in all that paper. The tablets are easy to use but my husband and I have found that the reported sweetening power of each of the "dosages" sold (1/4 grain, 1/2 grain, 1 grain) is exaggerated. Decades ago there had been a case made against saccharin, suggesting that it was cancer causing. I recall reading that it was the sugar industry that led that crusade against a product that has actually proved very safe and really a godsend to diabetics. We have now bought enough to last us for over a year. It is also going to be easy to leave a bottle at each of our children's homes so they will always be able to accommodate our needs.

5Good sweetener - just be aware of GRAIN countApr 29, 2010
1 grain is too much for me in a regular size coffee mug (and I am not talking about a 6oz cup). I would prefer to have more control. As it is I have to cut these in half. Otherwise, nothing at all wrong with the product.

5My favorite artificial sweetener for 25 years.Nov 23, 2008
There's no way I would want to change to another. My grandmother used saccharin since WWII--about 40 years. She died simply of old age at 86.
