 Great buy for the priceMar 20, 2008
I bought this product when it was on sale for $25. The quality of the saffron is very good. This is high-grade Spanish saffron. Trivia - Himalayan saffron from North India is considered to be the highest grade and most intense; Spanish saffron is generally mellower in colour, flavour, and aroma.
The quantity that you can expect to receive is unbelievable.....this merchant does a great job of selling a considerable quantity of high-grade saffron for a very affordable price. In fact, I am even willing to wager that folks who buy this product won't ever shop for saffron from any other source/seller.
Kudos to both Amazon and the merchant for an excellent deal. Keep up the good work.

I was surprised at how much saffron I received for the price. If you buy saffron from your local grocery you will feel as if you have hit the Mother Lode.
