Traditional Medicinals' Throat Coat herbal pastilles are AMAZING! They have an odd taste, somewhat resembling black licorice. I had a cough that would not go away no matter how many other cough drops I had (namely Halls), but as soon as one of these hit my tongue, my coughing stopped! It worked instantly to cool and soothe my aching throat. Highly recommend!

Those who might find the taste a little STRONG, should note that it has anise. This really works. But if you are not concerned with the health of your throat; if you do not depend on your throat, you might want something that tastes more like candy. This is for serious speakers, singers, actors and actresses.
