Does no one make a good decaf iced tea?Jul 29, 2010 I really enjoy Twining caffeinated English breakfast tea. However, I was very disappointed by the decaf version. Something in the decaf process strips the tea of all its character, leaving only the bitterness behind. The same thing is true for the Lipton Decaffeinated Tea. Since I only drink iced tea, I can't say how this tea is when prepared hot. Buy this tea only as a last resort.
Comfort TeaMar 04, 2010 I love this tea! With a packet of splenda and a splash of milk,it helps me settle down and relax before bed time.

Taste is nothing like the regular teaNov 20, 2009 This is horible! It tastes nothing like the regular blend that I love. When they washed away the caffeine, they washed away the flavor.
Finally, a 5-Star Decaf TeaNov 15, 2009 My husband and I use only decaf tea bags. I had been ordering the
Bigelow Decaf English Breakfast Tea from Amazon for a long time, but
recently it seems as though they've discontinued it. I reviewed it
a good while ago and gave it 4-stars as we were still searching for
a 5-star decaf tea. So, needing to order tea, I checked out the
reviews for some other brands of decaf and I liked what I read about
Twinings English Breakfast Decaf Tea. I decided to try it and am so
glad I did. We really like it much better than Bigelow. It's much
smoother and has more tea flavor; even if you steep it for ten minutes
it doesn't get a bitter or off-taste. Also, it's excellent with lemon
which is a must for me. My husband and I agree that this is as close
to a 5-star decaf tea that you can get. Most of the decaf teas are
awful, but this is delicious. I would highly recommend this to anyone
who is looking for a good decaf tea. I just hope Amazon keeps selling
it. It's well worth the price, and I'm signing up for Subscribe &

Highly drinkableMar 28, 2008 Twinings was founded in London, England in 1706, and has a long and respected tradition of producing only the finest of teas. English Breakfast tea is a mixture of black teas from Sri Lanka, which are blended to produce a smooth yet flavorful tea. Though often served during breakfast, this tea tastes excellent all day long.
OK, let's get down to brass tacks - this is another great tea. Harder to over-steep than some of the teas I have known, it consistently produces a smooth and highly drinkable cup. Highly conventional in its taste, English Breakfast tea has a robust flavor that stands up well to lemon and milk, which makes it a favorite among those who like to accessorize their tea. Plus, I must say that this tea is wonderful iced - add some lemon and sugar, and you've got the right tea for a hot afternoon!
And that's my review. If you want an excellent all-round tea, hot or iced, one that goes well with any food, then English Breakfast tea is for you. If you want tea from a great tea producer, them Twinings is for you. I highly recommend Twinings' English Breakfast tea to all, even those not normally into tea drinking. (Or, perhaps especially to those not normally into tea drinking!)
